Dr. Bartko is a Research Officer at Construction Research Center of the National Research Council Canada with more than 15 years of research experience.

Since he joined the NRC in 2014, he leads and conducts research related to energy efficiency of building envelope assemblies, their hyghrothermal, airtightness and energy performance as well as research related to Net Zero Energy Buildings. He runs experimental work as well as simulations including hygrothermal and energy modelling.

Dr. Bartko prior to working at the NRC worked in academia in several institutions internationally, including Japan, USA, South Korea.
